The Texas Entrepreneur Network will host a funding forum for cloud computing and software as a service entrepreneurs, Nov. 3 from 1-4 p.m. at the Old San Francisco Steak House, 10233 Sahara.
“With well established companies like Rackspace, we’re seeing opportunities for new firms that will address the ongoing needs for these industries, not only in San Antonio but throughout Texas,” Hall Martin, the executive director of the Texas Entrepreneur Network said.
Martin said the Nov. 3 event is based upon the successful Open Angel model funding forum that the Texas Entrepreneur Network has run in Austin. Active investors from the Lonestar State and other parts of the United States will be invited to evaluate the 10-minute pitches of each company.
Other entrepreneurs, investors and other business leaders will have the chance to watch the sessions in the audience.
“We realize that there are a lot of potential companies that believe they could participate in the next forum,” Martin said.
Companies that want to participate in the event are asked to fill out this online form.
