The value of objectivity

Lately LGE Execs has been working with a major computer manufacturer, which is currently creating a new set of services. We’ve been able to help multiple organizations work together more efficiently while identifying simple solutions to complex problems. The collaboration has already begun to yield obvious benefits for, most notably an additional level of focused energy that can be directed toward specific problems and solutions, and (b) an outsider’s ability to view the situation more objectively than the company’s executives and stakeholders normally could.
Of course, outsourcing as a general concept is nothing new to any corporation that hires consultants to advise, plan and recommend. But to achieve the timely and efficient execution of such plans and suggestions, it takes the right executive to pull those triggers and force things to actually happen. And in a large organization where everyone is jockeying for time and resources, the right executive often turns out to be an outsourced “big gun” with deep experience in the services, processes and challenges involved. In fact, outsourced executives who work with a number of companies in a variety of industries usually possess a broader range of knowledge and experience than an executive who works for a single company year after year.
If you wish you could hire that outsourced executive permanently — be glad you can’t. Why? Because it’s our outsider status that enables us to tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Our objectivity is one of our greatest selling points for any organization that outsources our talent. We can look at a situation with clear eyes and see solutions that people too close to the problem simply can’t. We’re objective so we can help accomplish your objectives. If that sounds like what you need — contact us!
